ya it is normal for the windows operating systems. the programme means that u had not shut down the computer properly or there was a power failure. it will re-arrange the fild fragments in a order so u'll be able to access the system properly. it is a good one. next time shut down ur computer properly.

When your computer shuts down on its own or due to power failure windows needs to check your hard disk for consistency so that all prgs work properly and no data is lost due to the shut down.It will happen all the time when u shut down ur pc directly i.e press switch off button directly or due to power faliue.

Just to be safe you can run a good antivirus and antispyware scan. Depending on maker it may be something they put in as a disk check. Also, if you powered off without doing a proper shutdown, it may be a result of that. As far as scans, go to downloads.com and run superantispyware and ccleaner.

it means windows has detect problems with your hard disk and is running a disk check let it do it don't touch until it's finished
you should preform a manual disk check at least once a week to stop problems
