A serious question for those who say we only need Quran?

Asalam alaikum, to those brothers who say we only need Quran....i have a couple questions; 1. When EXACTLY do u pray and HOW do u pray? Just say 'i pray' and u are done? 2. What do u do at jumuah? just sit there? how do u give a khutba or I guess u dont think u need one? 3. Do you know that 'following quran only' movement only started in the 1950's by a small group? That there is no historical precendent for this.....I await your responses... Salaams

Update:

I could have added many things, but since the line between belief and kufar is salah, I chose manly this area....still no answers from the people to whom this questin is posed however.

Update 2:

mainly not manly...sorry

Update 3:

Well at least 2 people 'tried' but they just cut and pasted, so they get a 'B' for effort not an 'A' however, its not accurate....they add details that just arent in the Quran....they Try to squeeze it in, but its not...and IMPLY things....i could also ask them what about Hajj, the Details...

another thing, u Really think Buhkari spend his entire life doing this and it was worthless? U REally think u know more than the sahaba! AstigfirAllah, they went to Rasol Allah with all sorts of questions, u mean the answer was only for them? give me a break

I think it's hillarious how when Ghenna actually gets to the part of the movements & what is said in salah, she writes things that are not in the Quran, but in the hadith; for example, number of rakat, the placement of hands, two prostrations in each raka, etc... It doesn't seem like they got their salah from the Quran; they got their salah from those who follow the sunnah and just cut out what they didn't like.

I think these people target new Muslims mostly, because people grounded in their religion would very easily see how they are misguided. Shortly after I converted, I stumbled upon their website, and it didn't take long to realize that they are a people who edit out parts of Islam to please their desires.

    As Salaam to you all,

For those whom believe that we only need the Glorious Qur'an have left their faith far behind them with this notion. To be a Muslim one should believe in the Oneness of Allah (SWT), His Book, His Laws (Shari'ah) and His Messengers and this includes the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Being as Allah (SWT)'s Law is based on both the Glorious Qur'an and the Hadith of the Prophet (pbuh) then they only believe in two of the four main requisits of Islam. (This is excluding the five pillars of the faith.)

Now while I have always agreed that there are false Hadith which go against the Glorious Qur'an, we should not call them Hadith, if they are known as such. There have been many false witnesses, none more so than the disguised Jew who pretends to be a Muslim and misleads the Ummah with his lies. It is these type of people who get the educated Muslims to do their dirty work. Give me an educated Muslim and through reasoning I could easily brainwash him and lead him astray, while the uneducated is harder to misslead, for he will only follow what his Imam has told him to do. However, a true Muslim will never misslead a follower of the faith and this is why I always state that whatever I write should be checked out before being put into practice. Even though I have studied and been educated in Islam, in great depth, I would never call myself an Alim for this is to know your subject fully and truthfully. This would take anyone more than 30 years of study just to cover one school of thought. This is where our problem starts for knowing one school of thought is just that, a one sided view of a complex subject that means so much to so many. A true Alim would have the indepth knowledge of all the schools of thought, together with the Glorious Qur'an.

Let those who wish to just follow the Glorious Qur'an do so but on the Day of Judgement Allah (SWT) will ask them the ultimate question "Why did you not follow the Prophet (pbuh) that I sent to you?" Have pity on them, for their dwelling place will be the Hell Fire unless they repent of their ways.

    Wa Salaam

1 - Prayers are more than 90% mutawaer means it's almost like Quran in tawator .

2- Prayers are 5 according to Quran , NO doubt about that .

3- I don't know about Jumaa and because I'm a woman but if I was a man I'll go to Jumaa like any sunni. (I'm still new to this movement also )

4- Quran only movement reject those hadiths which make halal things or haram things because prophet Muhamed has no authority to do that outside the Quran , IF you say that it was reveled to him then tell me why it wasn't written in the Quran those halal and haram things . That includes also laws which are not in the Quran like stoning the adulterous and killing the apostate .

5- Quran is COMPLETE , that's what Allah says in the Quran , if you want me to believe those who are saying we need another source of Quran then you're asking me to reject verses in the Quran .

6- Some hadith contradict with the Quran .

7- Prophet Muhamed didn't know the unseen that what Quran say , please read the Quran well . Many Hadiths talk about the unseen which prophet Muhamed suppose not to know .

8- Prophet Muhamed himself forbidden anyone who was writing his hadiths , that is is sahih Muslims , yet they wrote it .

9 - Umar bin Khatab was punishing anyone who was writting hadiths, Abu Huraira started to narrate hadiths after the death of Umar for the fear of him .

10- Hadith collectors based their rejection or acceptance to any hadith according to their PERSONAL own view which is very subjective .

11- Bukhari chose less than 4000 hadiths from 700,000 hadiths that means people were following the wrong sunna .

12- Hadith is not 100 % accurate because it is not Quran , ONLY Quran is 100% authentic .

13- Muslims consider Bukhari is holy and sunni don't dare to object to his hadiths , NOONE is holy in Islam even prophet Muhamed .

14- Muslims put prophet Muhamed is an exalted position because of some hadiths contradicting the Quran which is saysing that prophets are just humans , messengers we have to follow them in their message which is the Quran for us .

15- There is no such thing like copying the prophet .

16- Some hadiths are really doesn't make sense and we keep defending it just to make it right .

17- Some hadiths literally shameful to attribute it to prophet Muhamed .

18- For me I don't accept all hadith and I don't reject it all either . Because hadiths are not accurate even if it was in Bukhari .

19- Shiaa and Sunni each have their own set of hadith , which make each party is the right one and will go to heaven , that was a war against each other . Allah said in the Quran it is ONLY one way NOT many. Quran is the only way because it is the 100% authentic one unlike any hadith .

They follow their Hawa & Nafs ( lust & desires). They r here to deviate those who r beginners in Islaam. They can never be Muslims coz Allah has clearly mentioned in The Quraan that wat ever the prophet brings to u....... now let them say someting about the Quraan.

The basic rule of islaam is to believe in prophet Mohammad ( s) & all that he has tought or u can't be declaired as a Muslim no way. So let tese people, fool them selves.

Yes i saw a couple of answers and pissed me of really Ignorance is more dangerous than Cancer in the mind i replied to them with alot of Ayat which say to follow the prophet !

they were following what shias say and that the dangerous of shias they say we are the same and they spread their religion undercover and get you out of Islam

shias reject the Hadiths and don't follow the prophet (his sunnah) so they were and still called Rafidah ( reject=rafid )

they try their hard to make Hadiths looks bad so the play whit people minds and specially who have no knowldege and weak Iman (the same tactics played by anti -Islam they also

play on Hadiths as first step like Hijab etc

i will bring my answers for them

    Alhamdulilah I'm Muslim Sunni Salfi

following the Quran and the sunnah of the prophet on the way of the Salaf assalah(the sahaba's and ahlulbayt and tab3in)

Those who need Quran only, I ask them, How would they justify with this verse :

Allaah Says (what means): "Whoever obeys the Messenger, has obeyed Allaah." [Quran; 4: 80]

Allaah Says (what means): "…And We have sent down unto you (O Muhammad) the Reminder, that you may explain clearly to men what is sent down to them, and that they may give thought." [Quran; 16: 44]

    People are so blind sometimes...

    May Allah guide them..

    Rest Allah knows the best~!
