Yahoo Answers is shutting down on May 4th, 2021 (Eastern Time) and beginning April 20th, 2021 (Eastern Time) the Yahoo Answers website will be in read-only mode. There will be no changes to other Yahoo properties or services, or your Yahoo account. You can find more information about the Yahoo Answers shutdown and how to download your data on this help page.

Anyone else notice how many extra keystrokes it takes to read and delete your mail and spam?

Until last week, I could delete spam with just one keystroke. Now you get a challenge box "Are You Sure?" Also, it sends the junk I just identified as SPAM to the spam folder, where you have to weed thru it AGAIN, then encounter another challenge box.

Update:

Not so Shotsie. When I click the empty button, I get a confirmation challenge box.

This is the new upgrade they did. Look on your email page and it will say "What’s New" click on it and it will show you all the changes they made. Not all accounts have been switched yet. They are doing it in stages. I do not like it I really would like to have the old yahoo classic back. I tried to switch back and have not found a way to switch back. I tried clicking on Mail Classic and nothing happened. The OPT out button does not bring the old one back either. Hope this helps!!!

i didnt notice that until just now either, there are quite a few changes to Yahoo's "Classic" email I just dont like at all, mostly that the original email appears when you hit the reply key..... you can delete it but it takes extra time to do that too, plus it leaves a blue line that goes all the way down the left side of the page.... all of this stuff, including yours is a big time waster.. i found a couple of links for customer svc, i did write to cust svc and the respons I got was basically deal with it.

i dont like how the signature line, when you have it enabled is now something you can see when you type your email... thats annoying too.

i wish they would have left well enough alone, it was working fine before.

Doesn't the new Yahoo mail have the "Empty" link next to the Bulk/Spam folder? One keystroke would do it.

confident it is RIDICULOUS. additionally, the comparable spammers shop dropping supplies and in case you place them on the block checklist, they nonetheless proceed to seem in unsolicited mail requiring greater time to handle. BLOCK FILTERS could be processed FIRST till now sending junk to unsolicited mail so one would not could view them, in any different case there is not any objective for having the flexibility to dam an digital mail handle. Getting sick of yahoo.
