Salvation: why is it necessary to be "saved?" How do you no for a certainty you are?

Hello and I count it an honor to answer this question - of course at my age (74) and having known the Lord for 40 years I have no problem saying it but my desire is for you to understand and that takes the help of the Holy Spirit.

1.It is necessary to be saved to know the God that saved you.

2.He will make Himself known to you in such a way there will be no doubt about it in your heart.

I'm honored to experience life and death. The cycle that is natural to the cycles of nature itself. If someone or something intelligent is behind it, then I must already have a kinship with them. It feels natural to be alive. It will feel painful before I die. But that is nothing unique. The bottom line is were all in this together: life then death. To say some of us are more entitled to something because of the way we conduct the lives given to us is more relevant to our human need to connect. I connect with my fellow humans differently than a congregation or Sunday Mass. For example, I socialize online and I go to concerts. What am I doing differently from yourself? I'm not sure. But some of you tend to get so self-righteous about your unity with others that you forget there are many ways to live life, none more wrong than the way you conduct your own.

How do you know that what you're being "saved" from actually exists in the way that you perceive it? If you want an answer that suits you for who you are try this;

-Blow your nose so you can take deep breaths through your nose.

-Stretch your arms and legs out just far enough so they stretch, (but don't hurt yourself)

-Sit on your bed, or the floor, or a pillow with your legs crossed.

-Close your eyes

-Take a DEEP breath in through your nose, and hold it (make sure you're comfortable, don't force anything, you want to be relaxed.)

-Pay attention to the thoughts you are having, don't follow them just notice them, and remember them for later. sit like this and keep breathing deep through your nose and calming your mind.

Eventually you will experience awareness of suffering, and this is the first stage of awakening. Keep doing this, the slower you make your mind go, the more wonderful things you notice.

No one knows for sure what happens to you when you die, but I believe so strongly that if you do not follow the way of Jesus Christ, then death is just death and in fact may be even worse then just death. If you follow Jesus's laws, then your spirit lives forever in a place so beautiful that it would make Yosemite look ho-hum. I do not care to take a chance, but choose to go to the beautiful place instead.

Many people cannot find the love, answers and purpose they need to be truly happy.

God says he will be a Father to us and give these things, but says we are alienated from him and we need to be delivered (saved) from this situation.

He offers to share his Life so that instead of being controlled by our changing opinions and feelings, we experience his nature in increasing amounts.

Life becomes truly good and gets better.

To get it you need to believe his gospel (good news) that Jesus Christ died and was raised to heaven so that we could receive God’s Spirit. So, we should:-

Repent - turn from other ideas

Be baptised - buried in water (just for a second), identifying with his death for us

Receive the Holy Spirit - known as being “born again” and evidenced by speaking in tongues where God miraculously leads us in prayer according to his perfect will.

As for those that aren't saved, God gives them what they wanted too!

They wanted an existance without God, so that's what they get.

.God gave us the tools now let us use them wisely.

When you pass away you go to a place where your mind takes you.Thoughts are living things and when you are dead you are in no more need of a physical body and only have your spiritual body.Your spirit body knows what it must do while in a body and tries to point you in the right direction but do we listen **** no *** Your conscience which is god tells you what is right and wrong so start listening.

Let me explain you why you need to be saved, or maybe we can say What do you need to be saved?

when Adam and Eve disobeyed, God told them that they surely would die. But when they sin they did not died physically, it passed long time before this happened. God is not a lier. Then what happened?

God said that we are body, soul and spirit.

what is soul?

Soul is the one who give life to the body.

So the soul did not died also.

Another important point is that God said that he created us in His image. What is his image?

God is spirit.

Then we can conclude that in that moment when Adam and Eve sin the one who died was their spirits.

What is the spirit?

this was given to humans to comunicate with God.

Ok then

Romans 5:12 - 17 (NASB) 12Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned—

13for until the Law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

14Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those who had not sinned in the likeness of the offense of Adam, who is a £type of Him who was to come.

15But the free gift is not like the transgression. For if by the transgression of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many.

16The gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned; for on the one hand the judgment arose from one transgression resulting in condemnation, but on the other hand the free gift arose from many transgressions resulting in justification.

17For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.
