Hey.....everybody talking about Wendy(yes she is great) but what about our Calysonians like the late Lord Kitchener,he had a diverse style of music,he was the best.

And I know you said two figues,but what about our Soca Worriors,fail or not,they are aor representatives.I wish them all the best

Allyuh talking about Wendy Fitzwilliam and yes, I do admire her for her strength, intelligence and of course, beauty. But what about Penny? The first Miss Universe from Trinidad and Tobago. She beat all the other women to the crown despite the fact that she was a short, petite woman. :-)

I also admire (believe it or not) ANR Robinson. My mother was telling me about the time when he was Prime Minister. The treasury was completely dry and he stopped all imports of "foreign" fruits and told Trinidadians and Tobagonians to eat pommecythere instead. lol! People started complaining (as usual) but he put his foot down. He also stopped all hunting for a while when over-hunting depleted the wildlife. But my admiration goes way beyond that. He was one of the most organized Prime Ministers we had. It's a pity that the bullet he took during the coup messed him up.

People who I do not admire: Minister of National Security, Martin Joseph. I still can't get over the fact that he said "arrestses." What's next? Homicideses? Murderses?

(I just couldn't help myself. I really had to put that in somewhere. lol!)

Wendy Fitzwilliams - she has certainly done her country proud. She continues to be an ambassador wherever she goes. She is a woman with such poise and determination, always smiling and willing to go the extra mile for her charity - Cyril Ross home.

Vindra Naipaul - her devotion for helping people is astronomical - Unfortunately due to her demise she became more Public, but the person they portray in the media is exactly who she is and so much more. A genuine kind woman

Eric Williams for having the vision and courage to lead our nation to Independence and Randolf Burroughs for the tough stand he adopted against crime while he was alive. We could do with both of them right about now.

Wendy Fitzwilliam not only does she represent our beauty intellect and joy, but despite what people thought of her being single mother, she defied it and moved ahead. a strong trini woman.

Dr. Eric Williams...our great forefather, who paved the way for us today. who believed that as a nation we can be the greatest.

Wendy Fitwilliam - Beautiful, strong woman. single mother who never gave in to the public scrutiny to get married, but living a good wholeosme life nonetheless.
