The economy right now is the result of government meddling and government policies. Bill Clinton vetoed a bill that would allow us to drill in ANWAR 11 years ago. Had the government not been hostage to tree huggers and environmentalists, we could be getting a million barrels of oil a day from ANWAR. We can not touch over 85% of our petroleum deposits off shore and inland and can not extract oil from our oil-shale deposits and oil-sands deposits.

The government is in the way and Obama is a proponent of more government. You know, the big nipple theory. Fasten your seat belts

What we ought to do is end the 30 years of republican "deregulation" scams. This has been occurring when you consider that Reagan - and it has bring about crash after crash as vast companies are instructed to "regulate themselves". The S&L Scandal replaced into the first - it really is the position McCain made a large number of money as portion of the Keating 5. The mark downs and Loans were deregulated and spun uncontrolled. The Enron fall down is right away with regard to the "deregulation" rip-off. And this cutting-edge loan disaster replaced into set up via Li'l Bush in 2003 to pay off his rich acquaintances. None of those monetary collapses would have occurred if lets had suitable regulation. and that is precisely what Obama is planning to do. Get some regulation on Americas monetary establishments. this is about time.

I think Obama's making lots of false promises that he wont be able to keep once put into office

&& i think that Mcain is just another old white republican just like the ones weve had for the past like wat 5 terms??

i have serious doubts that Obama can fix the economy but you never know && as far as Mcain goes i havent really given him much thought (

Source(s): Saw obama speak && have many pro obama and not pro obama friends

Neither. They are both "yes" men and Obama is inexperienced. He'll listen to anyone and follow their directions. If someone told him to eat a spider because it'd save the economy, he'd do it.
