    Sugar is a compound, it is made up of elements, carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen are the elements. C6 H12 O6

    See the periodic table of elements for more. when you combine elements to form a structure, you have a compound.

    No. It is a compound. It's molecular formula is C6H12O6 - that is 6 atoms of the element carbon plus 12 atoms of the element hydrogen and 6 atoms of the element oxygen.

    No, it is not an element. It is a compound having 6 atoms of carbon, 12 atoms of hydrogen and 6 atoms of oxygen in iit. Its formula is C6H12O6. It is made by combining the various compounds like carbon dioxide and water in their fixed proportion in the presence of sunlight and chlorophyll by the process of photosynthesis in plants.

    Elements are found on the periodic chart. Glucose is not found there.

    But, it is made of Carbon (C), Hydrogen (H), and Oxygen (O), all of which are elements found on the periodic table.
