Can dogs get worms in vagina?
My dog came in from peeing and she was acting like something was hurting her. I looked and pulled out a small white, clear, sting. Was this a worm? She is an inside dog!

yes it was most likely a worm because dogs can get them fairly easily. Sometimes they escape out through their intestines and are peed or pooped out so that is what happened in your dog's case. There are most likely (if not surely) more in your dog so take her to the vet immediately. Worms are parasites and will take your dog's nutrition which can seriously harm her.

It may have been a worm that came from your dogs anus and crawled into the vagina. If thats the case she has a bad case of worms and you should take her the vet for treatment xxx

Take her to the vets asap for treatment, worming tablets aren't very expensive and last for 2-3 months.

It could be some type of an infection. Maybe it's the carpet...whatever she sleeps on...perhaps there is a chance it's some allergic reaction. I'm not quite sure. You DEFINETLY should take it to the vet because things like that should be checked out.

No. Worms live in the intestinal tract - ie up the bum.
It was probably just mucous which is natural in a dogs (womans/cats/etc) vagina.
If you have a problem - go see a vet - what else are vets for?

May just be a U.T.I. (Urinary Tract Infection). Female squat close to ground, and sometimes touch the ground when they pee. Bacteria is then transfered. I have 2 yellow labs (females) and live in a rural area. Have your local vet check it out, and bring the "object" with you. Good luck!
