they think that im being mean or something but i havnt talked to them since school ended and i have no idea what to talk to them on IM about because it is sooo awkward what should i say??

Well it isn't that hard to start a conversation. Ask what they're family is planning for vacation or if they are even planning one. Ask about sleeping over, or staying for a few days/weeks. Ask about lovelives, lonliness, family problems, etc. You are their friend so you should have a few ideas on what they would like to talk about. Plus you could tell them what you did that day or what you bought. Just some ideas.

that isn't being mean. Just say hi when they log onto aim. you can ask them about their summer or just talk about what you used to talk about. If is awkward to talk to them, then try going to the movies and talking about the movie/try hanging out more?

mybe IM them mak a convo wit them....maybe they wont be mad at u ask them how was there summer then ask r u mad at me and if there not go hit the beach and hav a blast
