Recovering Password for windows XP?

Question

I have two users in my PC guest and administrator. i have forgot my password for the administrator user.. Please any body help me to find out or dissolve the password for the administrator. As currently i cannot install any software to my sys in the guest user. it is saying u need to have the administrator rights... so please help me out to solve this issue..

u can crack the SAM file or 
download xp password cracker from internet than login using guest a/c and this downloaded utility will let u change the admin passwd. 

search for password cracker in net :)

This one works (Tested)
Recommend: Stable: Trinity Rescue Kit 3.2:
    Current build: 279
    filename: trinity-rescue-kit.3.2-build-279.iso

Doesnot Fetch your Admin Password
But, U can Reset or change it without knowing the previous one.

After download,
Burn on a CD
& Boot from it

then
when u see Command Shell,
type the command

winpass

press enter

after u have done with answering those 2-3 questions ...

And it has done its job...

type the command

reboot
press enter

go to your account with out the password click on start  and go to my computer and go to change a setting on the left side and them go to user account if you see the account your already on then your just SOL but if you see account choises
click on the one with the password click on it and then click on remove password and the rest is common sence

because without administrator rights you can not change any settings..

so try to remember your password..
