Goin to camp need help on wich bugs and spiders to bring. I no black widows and brown recluse are big No Nos.

I'm goin 2 camp this month: HS and MS are gonna be in cabins together instead of different cabins... this is gonna be fun! need help! which spiders and bugs should i use? Black widow and brown recluse are out of the picture. Anyway I'm a tomboy and I like bugs & spiders so I'm catching some spiders... the thing is i dont know wich ones wont hurt the campers if the bug bites them( gonna put them in there beds and sleeping bags.) I dont wanna get in trouble or else my mom wont lemme go 2 camp again but my dad totally is gonna lemme do this and i already have warned some people just in case they are in my cabin... >:) (evil grin)

    Wolf spiders are always fun, and found all across the U.S. Also try to catch some praying pantises, watching those eat is great.. Catch some crickets too. I suppose you'd know what those are for.

    Pound for pound, black widow venom is more toxic than that of the recluse. The reactions to the bite are entirely different, and neither is pleasant by any means. The recluse bite can result in necrosis, but the widow's venom can result in nastier symptoms like respiratory failure due to it's effects on your nervous system. The popular opinion has been the recluse, but from a medical and toxicological perspective, the widow takes the crown. Being bitten by a brown recluse and not a widow does not make the recluse have a worse bite. Everyone who provided their experience of being bitten by a recluse has said that the recluse is worse. Without being bitten by both, the only way to determine which is worse is by comparing the toxicology of the venoms.
