Hey guys! I know this is in the wrong place but this forum gets the most and best answers sooooo....

Does anyone know of any diets that work? I need to loose a few pounds like 20-30. Anyone have any suggestions?

    Diets don't. You need a lifestyle change for lasting effects. I've lost 45 pounds this year so far just by watching what I eat and exercising more. I used to eat almost 3000 calories a day. I now eat between 2000 and 2200 depending on my activity level for the day. Eat more fruits and vegetables instead of fatty snacks. That's really all it is - eat proper portions and don't go overboard on sugar and fat, and you'll be fine.

    All you can do is cut down on the wrong foods, and eat the right ones and not eat so much. I managed by cutting out the toast I had with my breakfast, having a smaller lunch, in fact some days had no lunch, and just a cup of coffee, but have a good evening meal, never eat until you can't eat any more. I am ancient but am only a few pounds more than I was when I was an active 17 yr old.

    You don't want to go on a diet. Diets have a 95% FAILURE RATE!!!

    Another way to look at it... Diets only work 5% of the time!

    You need to do research on how to eat healthy. And make a LIFE PLAN. The reasons why diets fail is because people loose weight while they're on them, but then they just go back to their old eating habits as soon as they lost the weight they wanted to.

    Find a healthy eating plan you can live by.

    If you want to loose weight and not go on a diet I bet you'll loose weight just by cutting out these 6 things. If any one of these things is in the top 5 ingredients of ANY product you buy, then look for a better option :

    1. Enriched. The word enriched means they've taken out all the good stuff and put a small bit back in.

    2. Sugar

    3. Saturated Fats

    4. Corn Syrup

    5. hydrogenated oil

    6. Most prepackaged foods and processed foods.

    Weight Watchers is good. The South Beach diet is really good if you can get through the first two weeks.

    Watch the number of calories you consume in one day. Keep a list of the foods you eat every day. Even a cough drop or piece of gum has calories. It might surprise you how many calories you are actually consuming.

    eat heath food or eat some Vegetable and workout like 3 days of workout you will be able to lose a few pounds....

    or joy a gym program will help you lose few pounds....

    u can go on weight watchers. it work for my mom. she was 355 and lost 210 pounds in 4 months

    weight watcher is really good. me and my mom tried it, and then my cousin told me, her and her mom were doing it to, and it really works, you can lose 5 to 6 pounds in a week, or even moree!!
