    A. World Series Champs

Everything is going right for the Phillies and everything is going wrong for the Mets right now. But, everything is hinting at a direct opposite by the season's end. A few examples are the 2005 Astros, the 2007 Rockies, and the 2007 Phillies, that all started off poorly and ranked near the bottom of their divisions in mid-June. If you take a close analysis of the Mets, the Mets haven't really played that bad this year, except for having to deal with constant bad luck in the clutch and nagging injuries.

Wow, you just set a piece of bait for all anti-Mets people to chew on. They're having a bad start now, but I think they still can turn it around. It ain't too late, it's June, and 7 and a half games is nothing in June. That can be made up in no time if they can put together a win streak and I think they can. I'm saying they are going to be B.) the National League Champs. I don't know yet if they can be a World Series Champ yet, but who knows. Look at the Giants, they weren't even supposed to be in the playoffs and they won the Super Bowl against one of the best regular season teams ever. So anything can happen.

As a huge Mets fan I am upset saying this, but looking at it realistically, the Phillies don't seem to be beatable this year. The Mets have been subpar all year, now they are sub .500. I have no idea what the rest of the season will bring, but I am not expecting anything much different. The Mets are a shadow of a good team this year. there are momemnts when you say... we can beat anybody... this is it we have it now! and the next series we are swept by a last place team.

There are still 100 games left, but they have to make their move soon. They will be playing the Phillies, Marlins & Braves in a couple of weeks. They need to be within 3.5 games of first place by the All Star Break, and anything less than a division title, then "roll up the truck" everyone's gotta go!!

There hasn't been an professional assertion that that's occurring and there'll not at all be till the season is over. i think it rather is going to come early next week. I have not any theory who may be the recent GM. i'm merely no longer universal adequate with all the front workplace workers in the time of prepared baseball. I do think of it may be somebody with a sensible quantity of journey in the back of him. As for the administrative they could desire to look for somebody the choice of Manuel. somebody who's complicated-nosed, non-nonsense and decisive. i've got study some guy named LaRussa could be obtainable. whether or no longer this secret guy could desire the Met interest is unknown. BQ: no longer first. The Phillies are merely too solid.

I'm a Mets fan who is becoming less and less passionate by the day. It's almost reached the point where I root against them because they are so lethargic to watch play. They actually play as though they dont care so why should I ?

how do you get swept by the last place team?

mets fans always talk about how other teams suck. they always say the yankees suck, but at least the yankees dont get swept by the last place team (seattle).
