Graphic Design Question?
Do you have a tendency of using already made images and modifying them (online photo sites) or free handing them and camera pictures. Just an opinion question.

I am a web designer because its technical and thats what I am good at. I am good at designing a website but I lack the artistic ability in graphics so I do the best I can with online images and layering in photoshop which isn't bad but won't match up to those you see pros doing nor do I really have time to do everything. It is perfectly legal to use the offered images on line for your graphic work, but the good feeling you get from creating your own pics makes for a more perfect effect in the original composition. You need to learn what your limits are from scratch before you can be a competent graphic artist.

I tend to use images grabed from the net and modifying them or adding sections to an image I'm working on.
Why create the wheel, if it's already been done for you.

It depends on what I need. Most of the time the net works, but sometimes taking my own pics or scanning a drawing is the only way to go when I cant find what I need.

yes...all the time. I always use photos from the internet. where can I get HIGH RESOLUTION images? I work at a print shop.
