    hello

I see in this question you refer to your boy as an english bull? is he an english bulldog or olde english bulldogge?

the difference being an english bulldog is small to medium sized and will be considered full grown at age one yr to 18mo

whereas the olde english bulldogge is considered a large breed dog and "is" 50% english bulldog and 50% bullmastiff, american pit bull terrier, and american bulldog

    Puppy Growth - Large Breeds

The information provided on this page relates specifically to the various stages of Growth and Development & Behavior you can expect to see in your puppys first year. In respect of the larger dogs, such as the Mastiff, caution must be taken during growth periods in the first 18 months of the puppy's life. Excessive exercise such as jumping obstacles or over long walks can cause joint damage.

I hope this has been of assistance to you

thank you for taking the time to read this

    have a great day

    much luck

--I apologize for missing the portion of the last question of yours regarding the growth - I have rectified my mistake- I am sorry I had missed it to begin with

Bulldogs are very slow to grow. They really don't fully mature till 4 or 5 years of age, so the head will mature with time. Also the term is pure bred not full blooded all dogs even mutts are full blooded if they weren't they would be dead or have lots of problems. My one bulldog just got that gorgeous big chest when she turned 5. Vice versa we have a lovely big head on a male 8 month old. It really depends on the line, english lines tend to be the slower ones and american lines are a little faster but still slow. English heads are more of a wedge shaped head, and american heads are blocky. I have both english and american lines.

Dog training are excellent and very helpful to build you a stronger relationship with your dog. Read more https://tinyurl.im/pDVWJ

After I started training my dog, he became very attached to me and loves to stay by side as long as he can. But just going to them won't help. You have to practice what they teach you outside of the class and you need to keep up with it at least every now and then after the class ends otherwise they'll just go back to previous habits. This course is a really good place to go for dog obedience classes. It get's your dog around other people and dogs to socialize while getting the training you need. As for electric collars, I would say to not get one. In my experience, they're only a negative effect on your dog. I mean of course you're going to need to correct your dog, but being positive and encouraging your dog works a lot faster and easier.

Every dog is different, so unless you have a german shepherd or a really smart dog, it might take a while to train her. You might get frustrated with her, but go easy. She's still a puppy and has a lot of energy. A backyard or somewhere to run will help her get rid of a lot of energy that might cause her to misbehave from boredom.

Will have most of his height at about 1 year old, but will continue to fill out and mature till about 18-24 months.

Source(s): Have a 5 year old Bulldog. They don't call them English Bulldogs anymore, they are just Bulldogs.

Most dogs keep growing until 18 months old.

It depends, if you got him neutered he won't grow as much and his growth will end sooner. Otherwise with male dogs usually they grow up till anywhere from 1 to 2 years old.
