For some reason, everytime I connect the ethernet cable, the modem's light for the ethernet cable will flash green and then flash off. I already checked its condition and there is no problem with it. It just keeps on flickering and not a steady green. I have been able to connect to xbox live like 6 months ago, but now it's not working. What should I do since my telephone isn't working?

call your internet and telaphone provider and explain the problem to them it sounds like its kinda advace for me, sorry )=
