What type of bike frame is this?

I have this bike that was given to me and I would like to know what brand of frame it is so that I can buy parts.

The most unique feature on the bike is a big gusset that goes from the underside of the bottom frame rail to the area where the handlebars and front forks attatch (Gooseneck). It looks like an extra frame rail had been cut in half and then welded to the bottom of the existing one to create strength in the gooseneck area.

The bike also has a welded on cable mount for a gyro, which from the bikes I have looked at so far is unusual.

Another thing is that the rear brake mounts are on the underside of the top subframe rails.

Any help with this is appreciated, thanks.

Update:

By the way it's a BMX style bike.

I am not sure of the brand but I know what what you are talking about. There isn't really anything weird that you need to worry about when buying replacement parts. Here are some simple suggestions:

You will need to look at a Gyro as normal as it is except you can get rid of the lower part as it has the welded piece on the headtube to replace it.

The Brakes are whats called U-Brakes and the most common replacement is a "990" style.

The crank will be determined by whether it is an American, Spanish, European, or Mid bottom Bracket. If you show a Bike Shop, they should be able to tell you right away and also should be able to get you a size if needed.

The seatpost size is a little tricky as you have to get the inner diameter down to the millimeter so you will need some calipers. Again, go to a shop and they can hook you up and measure it.

The bars are standard. You will just need to choose your height, and width by your personal preference.

The stem is the same as the bars except you will need to know if you have a 1" or 1 1/8" headtube but you probably have the larger as it is a gusseted frame and most 1" bikes didn't have a gusset.

Other than that, it comes down to brand and your choice but just a warning, Cannondale (as mentioned by another answerer) doesn't really have BMX parts.

Its fantastically risky to purchase a motorbike on-line if you're not from now on time-honored with the emblem and sizing. i could advise you hit a motorbike keep and look there; many nonetheless are trying to get rid of 2007 fashions. Mountain motorbike sizes are measured from the centerline of the bottom bracket to the genuine of the seat tube or genuine tube, and the sizes are commonly 13/15/17/19/20 inches. highway motorcycles are measured in yet differently when you consider that its a unique body geometry, and are listed in centimeters, many times from about 40 to sixty 4 cm. i'm about 6' tall and journey a 19" MTB and fifty six/fifty seven cm highway motorbike body. yet each and every individual who's 6' tall isn't 'equipped' an same; some have longer legs or torsos, fingers, etc. suitable extra healthful from a motorbike keep will a great deal develop your using leisure.

Sounds like a flat land BMX frame to me. Of which company I haven't the foggiest idea. But the below chainstay brake mounts and detangler tabs are a dead give-away to the style. My guess is that it's a fairly weighty frame-a tank. Indicative of the type-parking lots, and ramp.
