I have strong grudges over some civil servants who just can't get enough out of their incessant increase in salary, endless perks, lifetime pensions and free medical and hospitalisation and what not. Still its not enough for them and they seek for relief to conduct businesses.

These double income civil servants have been around for many years and they are mushrooming by the day. The small shots would just sell kuih and biscuits and kain ela. Medium shots will have their own pisang goreng stall or restaurant while the big shots, they take commissions from hardworking busineessmen and make millions.

No wonder some of them are becoming lazier performing their supposed government jobs and worse, we the public have to pay for it.

they already did this a LOOONG time ago. My mom's a teacher and her other colleagues have all these businesses--seliing cloth for raya, tudung, biscuits, dll...now I think they SHOULD relax that ruling and let students take part time job too! We all need it...esp those with courses that are "non-medical and thus unimportant" to PTPTN... (yeah, im a malay n i didn't get that biasiswa eiter...believe it??)
