Carols Gomez or Matt Kemp?

Very very tough question.

Matt Kemp will hit for more power and I predict a better batting average than Gomez.

Carlos Gomez will hit .260-.265 (just based on his speed). Now the stolen bases have hit a decline because he's been thrown out 7 times in his last 8 attempts. It isn't the fact he's not running...he's just getting tossed out. I think Gomez hits 11-12 homers this year...and will score some runs.

I would probably take Matt Kemp this year and maybe the next 2. By the time it's like 2011-2012 you have to take Gomez. If he ever becomes more disciplined at the plate...his average will skyrocket. He'll score 100 runs (with Casilla, Mauer, Morneau) hitting 2-3-4.

Gomez has a lot of maturing to do...it's a close call but I like Kemp!

I think Kemp has more value. I just saw a player ranking on Espn (might have been Yahoo) where Kemp was ranked in the top 40, which surprised me. I think some are predicting Kemp to do even better throughout the rest of the year.

I like Gomez, and you know the second you dump him, he going to steal 5 bases in 3 games. Still, if you can survive the loss of steals, then Kemp is a better fantasy option. Good luck!

I am in a 10 team league H2H and i have both players. if i had to start just one of them I would start Kemp because he is a better hitter and he has more SBs in the past month than Gomez.

if your team needs more SB's than keep him in because you might sit him on a day that he gets 3 or 4 wich could happen easly

and Kemp does not play everyday and Gomez plays everyday

Carlos Gomez, he´s projected to be better than kemp and he can help you a lot in SB. Stay with him, he could be a 300 hitter too.
