Wainwright and Pujols go to the DL within a day of each other. Are the Cardinals done?

When has a team lost their best pitcher and position player back to back like that? Cards could be in trouble.

I dunno, the Cards have surprised everyone this year. (I'll be honest, I didn't expect them to be this good), but losing Pujols and Wainwright are pretty big hits, but it's still only June, depends on how long they're out for.

No. The Cards could go just as far without them. However, it would be a little tougher, considering who they'd bring up. Look at what Boggs did last night! The only issue is who they'll call up to take Pujols' place.

I wouldnt say they're done cuz they have done so much without many of their players already. Tho this does dent their offense and their pitching staff, i do expect them to atleast maintain a .500 record for the time being.

Well only particpate every 4 games so he isnt that important. But pujols se fue ( is gone), yea they're done for and with the way cubbies are playing, sorry to say they're done.

Probably, but I hope not. The last thing the NL needs is Milwaukee at the top of the division. The league would lose lots of revenue in fines with the Brewers trying to sell beer to kids on Fan Appreciation Day.

  • yes are in a tuff division and the way our cubs are doing its safe say they are gonna have a long season without him but seriously don't count them out just yet . sorry to here he's out (lol) but he killed the cubs more every time he goes against us. just made it easier for us now. hell yeah.

The cardinals were done since last year... Pujols won't be back to form.. They made the mistake of hiring Larussa again.. Plus they're division is pretty strong.. i'd say they are done..
