Is there a way to prevent GMail Chat from flashing when I receive an IM?

I'm using Internet Explorer, and I have one Web site open on one tab, and GMail on the other. I want to talk with people on GMail Chat. I do so, and whenever I get an IM, GMail's tab flashes to let me know, and won't stop until I check it. Is there a way I can turn this off?

    Yes...Ofcourse you can turn it off by just signing off the Gtalk... he he;-)

    Just Kidding...

    Let me come to the point...

    You don't have any option in turning of the popup!!!

    There isn't a way that I know of... The orange drives me nuts
