I had a wisdom tooth removed yesterday...?

I did everything I'm supposed to.

Today I rinsed my mouth with salt water and it started to bleed a little bit, I can kind of still taste some blood.

What does this mean?

Could I get dry socket from it?

I don't think the blood is a problem, it's probably leftover blood from the surgery. But if you are concerned about "anything" call your dentist, even if it's everyday -that's what he's there for and maybe even his nurse can comfort you with answers or suggestions about any questions you may have. I thought I was going to have pain and a hole in my lower jaw for the rest of my life and then one day I realized that the hole and the pain were gone. Good luck.

Be very careful to read everything the dentist gave you. I made the mistake of cleaning out my mouth and got dry socket. Also a lot of people who ate right afterwards got dry socket.... and that stuff hurts BAD! Just be sure to re-read every piece of info he gives you and follow it otherwise you'll be in pain
