signing over check to power co?

we just received a check(rebate ) from at&t,can i just endorse it over to the power co?

oh by the way they took the check!!!!!!!!!!!

    No. Deposit it into your account and write them a separate check.

    No. You'll have to deposit it or cash it and then send the power company a check or money order.
