okay, so i have a friend who is a girl. She says she has a "significant other" but they are not really going steady. Over the school year she has opened up to me and vice versa ( in conversation) and i think we are good friends. so my question is should i ask her out? but i don't want to wreck one of the good friendships that i have if she says no. grt it?

Screw wrecking the friendship. If she showed you the goods, you'd side step that friendship for some poontang and would not even think about the friendship ever again. If you're going to take her seriously, just make sure she exits her current relationship prior to getting with you so that if you guys end up a unit, you're not left paranoid that she won't meet some other guy telling him that she's not in anything serious relationship and giving you herpes. Ya dig?

just go ahead and ask her. if not then you'll probably not have another chance and regret it.
