Will doing push ups help me receive that "v" shape in my back( upper body).?
and what type of push ups to do also ?? I know that different types of push ups have different empasize on different muscles.

nope...push ups don't stimulate the lats. you need to do something like barbell or dumbbell rows, pull ups, etc.
