I have heard and said, as recently as last week, that

I'm older than my gums and younger than my teeth,

for most of my life. But I've never heard it put the way you have with as old as my tongue and a little older than my teeth.

So, now we've got two ways to say it. Hmmmm

Thanks for the mouthful of a Q :)

LOL! I never even heard of that. Maybe no one in the States use that phrase!

But I do sometimes say I'm old enough to be my own grandmother because of some physical stuff I experience!

Never, I've never heard that one before and even if I had I would never use it.
