Can you have multiple iTunes libraries on one computer?

I recently joined the iPod craze and got myself one of those nifty little mp3 players. My wife has had hers for a while, and she has all of her songs stored on our sole computer. Unfortunately, while she is a classical music fan, I prefer old-time Rock & Roll.

Is there some way for us to create two different libraries on the same computer (under the same account), so that all of her preferred music will be downloaded onto her iPod, and only my separate music will be downloaded to mine?

That is a good question. If you use a separate Windows user account, the music in the libraries will be different, which I reccomend. However, there is a way to sync so that only songs you want will be on your iPod if you want, it is called manual song management.

Here is the path in iTunes.

Edit>Preferences>Syncing>Disable Automatic Syncing on this computer

Then you can just drag the songs you want to your iPod.
