Can you un-dye hair? Safely?

My hair is naturally blond, but last winter I felt like a Barbie doll so I got it dyed dark brown. I like it and I've been keeping it brown, but I miss my blond hair now and would like to get it back to blond. Is there a safe way that won't ruin my hair to un-dye it? A strip or a rinse or something? If not, is it safe to dye it blond over the brown dye, or will dye-on-dye make it some weird color? My hairdresser works at a school of beauty, so she's not a professional yet but she is very good.

nothing to do undoing hair dye is good ...lots of chemicals are involved...just do it once but you might not ge the results you want depending on how dark your hair is...just next time you decide to go dark use a semi or non permanant color so it washes and fades easly

no you cannot un dye hair. but over time the color wears out. what you would have to do to get rid of a dark color is bleach it blonde and then tone it down
