food prices?

since we all know food prices are rising and will likely continue to rise as long as fuel prices continue to increase , i am curious to know if anyone is stocking up on food now to beat the later increases to come???

    no - this type of behavior makes the problem worse. one thing i am trying to do is make a conscious effort to buy local and not pay someone else's fuel bill for what i eat

    although the cost of food will go up, most foods will not last over long durations except can goods and M.R.E.s

    how much can u buy. may be for a year or two, that too non perishables. what after that.????
