Restaurants at Kansas City Airport?
Flying through Kansas City, with 2 hour layover. We get to each lunch at airport. What is the best restaurant? We are flying on Midwest Airlines, which has gates in Terminal A.

Home Turf Sports Bar & Grill with Arthur Bryant's BBQ is located at Terminal A near gate A9 is what I woul go for. At gate A23 which is the nearest to the Midwest Airlines gates which are gates A23 to A30 is the Fountains of Seville which Serves traditional breakfast, sandwiches, soups and salads there is a Starbucks at gate A12 which Serves breakfast pastries and deli sandwiches. Close by in terminal B is a burger King at Gate B36 and a bagle shop at gate B32

First of all I hope you enjoy your two hour visit to Kansas City. Seccondly here are some places to eat in terminal A -
- Home Turf Sports Bar & Grill (near gate 9)
- Quiznos (near gate 9)
- And for desert: Cinnabon (also near gate 9)
I have eaten at the Home Turf Grill place before and it was pretty good. Keep in mind that 2 hours isn't that long for a lay over. Your previous flight may be delayed a while which always put you at KCI later than expected. KCI is a really nice airport in my opinion and isn't that hard to navigate you're way around the place. This should make things easier.

Keep in mind that you will be exiting security to eat at those restaurants, as there are no restaurants in the Midwest gate area. You will need to go back through security, which at MCI doesn't take much time, but you need to plan for it. Each airline gate cluster has its own screening area.

I haven't been in terminal A, but according to flykci.com
~cinnabon to go (cinnamon rolls)
~ fountains of seville (sandwiches, salads, soups)
~Home Turf Sports Bar & Grill with Arthur Bryant's BBQ
~Quizno's (sandwich shop like subway)
~Starbucks (serves pastries)
And there are some little shack thingys with snacks past security incase you don't want to exit security
Hope this helps!
