He earned a 105 Beyer for the Foster.

Last paragraph of the article titled " Arc closer to becoming reality for Curlin"
EDIT: I'm not sure how to figure the Beyer, but I found a web article at http://www.horsehats.com/Beyer-Speed-Figures.html
that gives a brief explanation of how it's done. If that article doesn't have enough info, it has an amazon.com link to Beyer's book that explains how he computes the speed figures.

I personally am not a big fan of Beyer speed figures, the reason being apparent here: Curlin being boxed in when he should have started to make his move are not factored in. Given that, we can assume that his Beyer is probably about 5 points to low than if he had a perfect trip. Did you see any exertion in that race? I don't think so. I forget how much of a role weight plays in the figure, but Curlin was carrying an unusually high weight for this day an age (though champions like Kelso and Dr. Fager, who had to carry upwards of 132 pounds on multiple occasions, would scoff [not literally] at the weight).
Also: I would suspect a translated Beyer in both of his Dubai races would be upwards of 110 (he actually did carry 132 pounds in his prep, and still ran about 2 minutes flat). Though there is a controversy over whether the time for the World Cup was 1 second slow or not, you can time it yourself on Youtube: The recorded time is accurate, and the adjusted time is very, very off.

Delightful Kiss. He'll be a very fresh horse... he went on the layoff after the West Virginia Derby in August and has come back with only one race to finish a good second. He gets to carry 14 fewer pounds than Curlin. Honestly, I don't think anyone can come close to Curlin. Unless Curlin falls down, no one can beat him. But at 20-1, Delightful Kiss might be a tempting play.

he ran an awesome race. 105, thats a good number. curlins a monster that seems to get better every time out. someone should show desormeux a video of that race and say "now this is how you race from post 1"
