Do you take it personally when someone gives you a thumbs down?

In a way yes. I wish there was a way that we could all have an explanation as to why. I believe that everyone has the right to their own opinion, and as long as the venue is the right one and the answer applies, it should be either no rating or a thumbs up. I've received many, and with each one now I laugh it off, I wonder though what part of my response prompted their reaction! I think it may help me learn!

Not at all. Each of us are entitled to our own opinion. If I were to continually get thumbs-up' I would suspect something was a-miss. Likewise with a continual 'thumbs-down'. If my answer is appreciated, that is good. If it is not, that is okay too. Such is life.

i dont take it personally but it does annoy me.

esp when im trying to help them! and i still get a thumbs down =(

sometimes, but if i give someone a thumbs down, i wouldnt want them to take it personally

no. i'm used to it by now and sooner or later, you will be, too. thumbs down lose their effect after a while

i used to, but ive realized especially in P&S, youre gonna get them, for people not liking your avatar, or doing it for fun.
