where should i put myself?

i am a professional working in a company that offers a lot of opportunities for a business. i have no problem with my boss and my collegues. My boss even sponsored by MBA and i was able to finish it in no time. i think the problem is me. my boss is always up for new business opportunities and he is really serious about it. he shares whatever he sees can be of advantage for me. but i dont feel any excitement when i am offered an opportunity. i am not the type of person when you present an idea i can easily think of hundreds of business opportunities. i feel that i am in the wrong place. don't get me wrong, i've learned a lot in the business field by going up the ranks. i feel lost and i dont even know what i should be doing if i resign. i feel lost.

would appreciate if anybody can walk me through in making me understand of my situation. thanks.
