If you could go back to some time and place in the past, when and where would you go and why?

I have always been fascinated with Jack the Ripper, so I believe I would choose to go to Whitechapel, in London's East End, during the late summer of 1888, when the "canonical" (for sure attributed to him) murders started.

I have often wondered what it would be like to walk those damp and dirty streets, knowing that a new kind of killer, one the world was not used to, was stalking his victims in that neighborhood.

No, I would not be a prostitute. But I would go back as a poor woman in the neighborhood. I wouldn't want to be some posh woman in a West End drawing room, reading about it in the papers. I'd want to feel the atmosphere on the streets as people grew more and more alarmed.

I have always been interested in that place and time. Britain was a country in transition, and I would like to see that.

Seriously - I woul like to go back to the 1920s.

It was such an amazing time for Art & Literature and exchange of ideas.

Unfortunately, it would end with the Depression.

i would go back to 1996. that was when i met a boy called daryn who i fell completely in love with. for some reason i was so dumb that i never believed he liked me although he couldnt have made it more obvious. one day he asked if i liked him and if i wanted to go out with him but i was petrified of the feelings i had so i run away and said no. i have loved him ever since. i have been married and divorced and still he is the one i always think about. he is married now so there is no chance of us ending up together

I had any older father, He was held captive during ww2 by the Japanese in a prison camp called Changi. I would love to go back in time to help the prisoners and my dad
