You aren't alone, so it's probably nothing you've done. It's been noted in at least 4 other queries that Spam filtering seems to have failed for users recently. Been happening to me too.

Yes, do make sure it's on, you can even try resetting it.

Again, I'm not so sure it's anything we've done as users, could be a problem on Yahoo's end.

Source(s): Some of the other questiond from Answers > Yahoo Products > Mail Has anyone with a Yahoo Mail account noticed an excessive amount of SPAM as of late? Has anyone's yahoo spam filter quit working? Yahoo mail is allowing spam into my inbox. Spam guard is turned on. How is this possible?

make sure your spam guard is on, then if u don't e-mail from someone then highlight it and hit spam, usually takes about 24-48hrs for u not to get anymore email.let's say u got e-mail from bob bob for example, u would just highlight it and hit spam.when u put something in spam it will tell u if it's on or not,u should also be able to go to the spam folder and type it in and not get anymore mail like that.Hopefully this is helpful.

  • This is Yahoo’s NEW AND IMPROVED system that replaced the actual working system. After all, why do we call it YAHOO.

i tried diligently and took painstaking time to unsubscribe each e mail of 'junk,' and that i ended up with extra junk mail than ever. this isn't the thanks to eliminate junk mail on your inbox, unsubscribing will only develop your junk mail....
