Becoming a caterer?
My sister and I are thinking about starting up our own catering company, but to be honest dont even know where to start. Neither of us have any cooking qualifications but its something we would really like to look into. Does anybody know where we would have to start? What qualifications we would specifically need, if any? We are in the UK. Thanks.

the first thing you have to do is to open a small scale restaurant and then make posters, publish in newspapers about the need of caterer and train them according to the table number in tour restaurant. BEST OF LUCK

Go to a local college & find out you may need NVQs in food tech & things, hygiene is one you will defo need. Its an expensive thing to do.
A friend is a caterer & he had his van up at the badminton horse trials & it cost im ober £5k for the week, or however lonmg it lasts
