Yes, same here: I travelled 60 miles yesterday, only one shell station closed, but at Morrison's, it was like Mad Max, people queueing, pushing in, filling containers etc.,

    not me.

however, i do need to cut the grass and this involves going to the garage to get 3 gallon cans of petrol. i will not do that because people might think i'm panic buying - what a whimp eh ???

i normally buy 3 cans every 2 weeks, but people are very sensitive this week and might assume i'm panic buying and i really don't want any forecourt "discussions".

I haven't used any more than usual - but I do use a lot as I do a lot of miles between home and the parents/in-laws so that they can see their grandson. I also use a lot of fuel for work so the tank is nearly always full.

No we have not queued just to top up on petrol but we always keep the tank topped up anyway because my elderley mother-in-law lives 2 counties away and we don't know when we will have to bomb up there for her.

I filled up as normal. No problems. However the cost of fuel is going up so fast i am inclined to fill again as soon as I get get a couple of gallons in
