The UFO are not only sited in Mexico. It is reported from the entire world. But as you said a little more sitings were reported from Mexico. The reason is still a misery as UFOs. Another fact which is also popular that these UFO stories are just a fabricated one by the US Air Base, because US having lot of spy satellites and all, so sometimes these satellites will fall down to earth and touches the ground. Civilians who gets the sitings naturally things that those are all Aliens. To avoid the mind of world, US spread these stories.

first aliens are thought to be reptilians, if you study the culture of Mexico and other country's you will noticed that the reptilian is presented, an example will be the god of the Aztec or Mayans

also aliens come to Mexico for the gold even though gold is not found on the streets it is found underground.Aliens need the gold for there planet for unknown reasons

The aliens moved most of there alien craft from area 51 in Nevada to a air force base in Mexico.Area 51 was getting too well known and was attracting too many UFO tourists.Now the craft can fly around without too many interuptions.

Canada is patrolled by NORAD(US) and Mexico has a very limited military and air force. If they wanted to get close to the world's Superpower, Mexico is the logical choice.

I would attribute it to a social trend. Sort of like everywhere else. I don't think the correlation between reported UFOs and something like a UFO movie being released or UFOs being covered on the local news is any coincidence.

Or, like many Americans, they are visiting for the friendly people and beautiful climate.

I think UFOs are all over the planet. They don't get reported in the US and probably in other countries because mainstream media doesn't consider them important since they could be hoaxes and they don't want to bother to find out.

We have a military base in Mexico, so people are going to think they are UFO's

Mexico is a beautiful country,filled with hardworking people.Unfortunately corrupt governments keep it largely impoverished and uneducated.That makes it a breeding ground for things like superstition and Alien sightings.
