What do you think of this proposed solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict?

A wonderful Idea, only there is a slight fault to it. It involves both side talking to one another.

That would be a nice solution, but it will never happen! The Muslims will never allow the Israeli's peace in that land, they want them all dead or driven into the sea! It is not all of the Palestinian people who are doing this, just the fanatics & those Palestinians who would settle with the Jewish people, fear for their own lives if they try to stop what is being done in their name, but really isn't being done for them at all!

Talk about Idealism. I hope you understand that the fanatics on both sides would never allow any of this to happen. They kill anyone who negotiate with the other side.

The roots of the divide are relgious, if it were simply a border nation-state question it would have been solved long ago, but religion is about tribalism and has created irreconcilable disagreements about 'god's will'. Sense and rationality falls on deaf ears in this context.

There are large sections of the Zionist movement who think Israel is ONLY for the Jews (such as followers of the late Meir Kahane). (And Palestinian Christians are treated no better than Palestinian Muslims, to all of you Christian Zionists out there!!!)

When you believe that god has given you, and ONLY you, the right to live in a land, bad things are bound to happen........

Sounds like what Pres. Carter and the deceased Anwar Nassar Sadat was trying to accomplish.

I like it we need to hug & love our brothers. Not hate because of color, religion ect...

they could become citizens under Israeli law..I don't know all the conditions required to do so...hopefully that they are not terrorists.
