A Specific Door Bell Ring?

Hey Fright Film Fan,

How's it goin'? Just received your question in my e-mail today. As soon as i read it i started looking around on the web to see if i can find any sites with a gong chime. I could not find anything, buuut.....i did find a couple of sites that do have some to where you can record any of your own sounds, rings or chimes into it and some are even wireless, very simple. All you would have to do is download any sound file from your computer that would sound similar to the Addam's Family gong chime and then follow the directions on how to transfer it to the doorbell base.

Talk to the parents first. Do as much as you can to solve the problem without involving the law. Document when you went to the parents, what they said (as specific and verbatem as possible) and see if they will help you. Do not mention race or religion. Just tell them what is going on, and that you would like them to stop. Dont threaten to call the police. If they do it again, after you've contacted the parents, call the police IMMEDIATELY. It is now harrassment.That will get their attention. If they do it even after the police, I believe you can take legal action against them. Maybe try to get punitive damages for stress, lack of sleep etc. Good luck!

The Addams' Family had a Foghorn for a doorbell. The crashing gong sound was to summon Lurch.
