broken digital camera...?
I own a Canon digital camera (sorry I don't know the model offhand). Whenever I go to take a picture, the screen is completely black & even if I shoot a picture, it comes up totally black. Right before it started doing this, all of my pictures where really washed out, but I reset the camera and now it only takes completely black frames. What's wrong with my camera? Is it fixable? Thanks so much!

it might not be your screen somthin could b in the lense. Point a flashlight right on the lense while its on and look at the screen. If nothin happens ur screen should still have light even if it is black. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is very possible that you got moisture behind the screen. What I would do is take the battery out, restart the camera an work from there. I would also go into settings and change the settings back to default. This should solve your problem.
