where in LA can i meet celebrities?

I wouldn't set your heart on meeting anyone, but there is a fair chance you'll see someone while you're here.

I've seen more celebs at Book Soup on Sunset than anywhere else. It's this small, really cool book store, where you always, always find a good read, & I've seen Julia Roberts, Jude Law, Mark Wahlberg and sooo many others there.

I haven't watched Disney in forever (I'm 16), so I don't really know who the stars are except the ppl from HS Musical & Miley Cyrus. I'm not really a huge fan of them - nothing against them either - but a ton of ppl apparently are because a huge crowd gathered outside of Kitson when Vanessa Hudgens was shopping there. I've seen Miley twice in totally random places that I promise you're not going to want to hang out at all day with the small chance she'll show.

These are some places that are actually cool to hang at where you may - just may - spot someone one:

Most of the premieres are in Westwood Village, and a few are at Manns Chinese Theater.

A lot of shows are on hiatus (like summer break) right now, but you could do a search anyway & see if any of the ones who live have audiences & try to get tickets.

You could also look into being an extra. Most of the agencies want you to be 18, but I know friends have done it and are younger than that. Google it out if interested.

If you do spot anyone, don't stare at them or take their picture without asking for permission.Just kind of look from the corner of your eye and then carry on, and hold off on expressing your excitement until they're out of sight.

One of my friend's dad is famous & I've been out with them when ppl have acted like total lunatic freaks when they see him & it's just not fair. They're people, too. Most people who live in LA will try to do their best to just let the celebs be. I only ever go star-searching when I have friends in town & they are jonesing to see someone, and I tell them what I just told you. If there is someone you really want to speak to, make yourself chill down for a moment and then approach them calmly. (ppl tend to get so loud in those moments!) I've lived here almost my whole life & I've only ever approached anyone a few times. I made a total dork of myself when I saw Justin Chatwin in 05 because he's just so freaking hot my brain melted, but other than that I've stayed cool and the ppl have been really nice. In 06 I approached Angelina Jolie at the Barnes & Noble in Calabassas and told her I admired her for her work as a UN ambassador, and she was incredibly nice & gave me a hug! It was like the most awesome encounter ever. I was just 14 then, though....I don't know if she would have done that with a middle-aged dude.

A good place to meet some celebrities would be at a restaurant. Also, rodeos and parks are helpful. An awesome place would be on the beaches of L.A. Last, but not least, you can find the biggest stars at the biggest movie premieres. Good luck and have a great time!

Try areas like Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, Robertson Blvd on the weekends. Also, if you can, look up to see if there are any premieres for movies coming up and you can go see the stars. They have premieres in Westwood a lot. I don't know about Disney Channel stars, but you can see if they have any live tapings?

You won't. When not performing, or at public events most celebrities want to be left alone, and that is the proper etiquette when seeing one in public. If they are what is called "A" listers they will usually be accompanied by personal security to make sure they are not bothered.

You definitely will not see Disney Channel celebrities because most of that stuff is filmed in Orlando, Florida.

Celebrities don't really hang out and wait for people to approach them. People should really respect their privacy. I've seen several in the Calabasas Barnes & Nobles, I guess because they are close to Malibu. One time, Pierce Brosnan took our parking spot there. I've seen Jerry O Connell, Alec Baldwin, Pamela Anderson and Jessica Simpson there. But most of these people live in the cities close to this area. I never approach any of them.

first of all it is unrealistic that celebrities are waiting around just to meet the fans. For the most part they want to be left alone as they go about their everyday lives. I see a lot of them in the market, Like Whole foods, Gelson's in the Bev. Hills, Westlake Village, and Malibu Areas.

Probably if you go to the Kodak Theather in Hollywood when there's any movie launch. Celebrities are around sometimes and you may be able to see them, but i'm not sure if meet them...

I dont have an idea on that... but a great alternative suggestion is you can go to universal studios and get the feel of being in Hollywood

Alot of celebrity sightings happen at resturants in Santa Monica or Hollywood. You may want to see if they are schedule to do appearances at Disneyland or things like that, alot of times they do signing in Downtown Disney if there is an event going on.
