Cable box to PC for Projector?
Is there ANY way to use my computer in the loop from my comcast cable box to my projector?
Facts-
I'm having some issues with my projector. It only has a DVI-D input for video. The projector will ONLY accept a data signal (computer) with that input. Basically meaning that if I hook up another component (cable box, dvd player) via DVI, it won't work.
My computer is hooked up just fine. Is there any way to put my computer in the loop from my cable box to my projector?
This way my projector would technically be getting the signal from my pc, so it would then accept the signal.
Flow chart below.
Cable box --> PC --> Projector
Thanks!!

well if you want your projector to be your computer moniter instead of the monitor you have, you just unhook the DVI cable from your moniter and plug it into the DVI input on the projector.if you have a newer computer you can hook you cable box to it using an AV cable, then hook your computer to your projector. thanks, and i hope i helped!
