If yours are hard wired like mine with battery back up, sometimes you have to clean them. I vacuum mine, but electrical dust, grease and grunge collect in them and has to be cleaned out. Dish soap and water or any commercial spray cleaner works. I think the little air holes get clogged and heat builds up inside to make the detector go off.

Check your battery. On some fire alarms the last gasp of battery life is used on making your life heck. Try that.

If it is just doing the occasional beep, it is probably your battery.

If it is going off, check your oven/stove for anything burning; if you smoke, this could set it off. Check to see if this is a combination smoke/carbon monoxide detector. If it is both, you could have high levels of Carbon Monoxide in the air, and should have this checked out immediately.

But, hopefully, ya just need a new battery for the little noise maker!

    Stay safe!

the batteries might be low or the fire alarm needs to be replaced,
