    Hello there.

On a sunny, breezy afternoon like this I can think of few nicer places than Richmond Hill...

    =)

The nearest station is Richmond (District line and overground rail) and it's about 20 minutes' walk from there to Richmond Hill.

However, you can also catch a number of buses to take you there from the station:

The R70 towards Hampton / The Avenue

or the H22 towards Bell Road / Bell Corner

or the 65 towards Kingston / Brook Street

or the 490 towards Heathrow Terminal 5

or the R68 towards Hampton Court Rail Station

or the 391 towards Richmond Bus Station

or the H37 towards Prince Regent Road

or the 419 towards Richmond Bus Station.

You can do a journey plan on Transport for London's useful website here, which gives your route on a map too: http://journeyplanner.tfl.gov.uk/user/XSLT_TRIP_RE...

Select "Richmond" (under stations) and "Friars Stile Road" (under addresses) as your start and end points. It will then give you various options for Friars Stile Road -- you want Friars Stile Road x Richmond Hill.

    Have a lovely time.

Best wishes, from a Londoner born and bred.
