Kathleen Sebelius for VP:?
Many people think she'd be a great choice in a field of great choices... Hillary people seem to have come back into the Democratic fold.. would they be upset because a different woman was choosen and would they switch to McCain. (for real)?

I'm a political science major here in Colorado, and I gotta tell you, I've been looking into and reading a lot about her lately. Also, she's handling this tornado and flood season really well in her state.
Hillary people who were about to vote for McCain just 'cause a woman didn't win this time are dumb. Who would vote for the entire opposite view just because of this...it's actually pretty ignorant and sexist.
I think Sebelius is a strong candidate, and I have heard her mentioned. I think even though more women might get excited and vote, I think it sucks that we can't just see that she might just be a good VP candidate, maybe even better than Hillary because she seems a bit more genuine on the microphone. Sebelius just stands out against all the lame-o democratic possibilities like Biden, Gore, or Dodd, who we already had the chance to choose and didn't...we might as well raffle off their toupees and use the money to fund her as candidate instead.
I think for a woman to say, "if it's not gonna be a woman, I'm gonna vote for someone with the opposite polical beliefs" is stupid. Women sometimes have trouble that they are capable of discrimination themselves, and it shows that they would have only been voting because of her gender, not necessarily because of her views or 'cause they thought she could do the job. Great, let's just give it to someone who will take your life and this country in a totally different direction just so you don't have to vote for the scary black guy who stole the election from the blond...are you kidding me?
Any woman who cares should be educating themselves on who Kathleen Sebelius is and try to email Obama and get him to pick her for VP, she's better and less political than our precious Queen who was set to inherit the throne her husband once held.

I supported McCain in 2000 and will do so again....but I have said from the start that Sebelius and Janet Napolitano were more legitimate candidates than Hillary, McCain and certainly better than Obama...they just don't have the media clout yet.
Personally, I don't think she fits in with with the "old guard" democrats like Kennedy and Kerry who are Obama's real backers...Like McCain, Sebelius has crossed party ideology when she judged it to be in her state's best interests....If people paid more attention to details instead of decoration, she'd be a formidable running mate and potential Presidential successor...
That said, I think Obama will do what looks best for him...If the "popularity computer" tells him to pick a female running mate, I have a feeling it will be someone closer to the Old Guard (an East Coast governor or congresswoman), another "image" guy like John Edwards, or Hillary (as a very very very last resort).

I actually like the idea of Kathleen Sebelius. First of all, it would be a first because she would be the first female VP and it would be nice to see.
More importantly she is a politician with executive power in her background, is one of the most popular governors in the country and she is a Democrat in a traditionally Republican state. She has clashed with health insurers in her role as state insurance commissioner and is seen by some as a champion of the little guy.
She is also Catholic, popular with the demographic Hillary was pulling in primaries and more moderate in certain political leanings than Obama. She could help put some of the traditionally Republican Midwest and even Southern states in play for the Dems this election.
Also, she can't run for Governor after 2010 because of term limits so she would have to look for a new position anyway. And this should set her up for a successful run for president herself in 2012.

If one is Obama and the goal is to gain back Hillary supporters (specifically particular females) then you should go with Hillary herself. Sebelius would not be a better strategic choice in that regard.
I do not think Obama is going to choose Hillary, nor do I think he is going to choose any female, but if he were going to do so....the wisest choice would be Hillary (at least in terms of gaining back those feminist votes).
I think if Obama is going to pick someone based upon the best election winning strategy it will be to gain a percentage of white males (such as Webb, Bloomberg, etc). The majority of real feminists are not going to vote for McCain in the end (polls are already showing that they will not).

There would be no loss of people who have jumped from Hillary to Obama with Sebelius.
I think those are people who liked the idea of a female president, but were perhaps not hillary true beleivers.

She will fit right in with BHO - She is a paper suite with no back bone. She will do nothing a take credit. BHO- thinks she will pull some conservative dems. Does it really matter who BHO picks? Sebelius or not the dems will not let him be their poster boy for the next 8 years

Who says this? I don't even know who she is - this is the first I have heard of her.
As far as the scumbag Hillary Bigots are concerned, they wouldn't vote for Obama if Jesus Christ was his V.P. They are not interested in voting for a man whose skin colour is different from their skin colour because they are RACISTS.

No,
Obama should take Louis Farrakhan, they have mirror idealistic values.

I don't know who she is but taken within the context of your question, I will say that she sucks.
