Question for anyone who owns a fujitsu siemens AMILO li1718 laptop?

Does anyone find that their built in wifi fails to start when you switch on your computer. My one gets to the desktop and doesn't connect. I have mine set so that you don't have to keep on pressing the wifi button every time you switch on. It used to behave this way even before I changed to this setting, i.e when I used to have to press the button each time. I've tried everything such as disabling firewalls etc.

Any feedback, inluding whether you solved the problem and how would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Scott

I have the same laptop, and also have problems with wifi sometimes. My problem, though, is that if I've left my computer on for a couple of hours, but put it on "Standby," it won't find a wireless network when I start it up again. I always have to re-boot, sometimes more than once.

Unfortunately, I haven't found a solution either, except for re-booting.
