For Fantasy Baseball, Jay Bruce or Chase Headley?

Jay Bruce.

He has the can hit for avg., power and will score runs and is a more reliable than Headley at this point.

Keep in mind Headley was called up because the Padres are one of the woret offensive teams in baseball and play in a pitcher's park half the time.

So. With that said Headley will struggle this year along with the Padres. Plus he won't have a lot of RBI opportunity.

Based on home ballparks - the edge goes to Jay Bruce without a doubt. Hitting in Great American Ballpark over Petco Park is a major advantage.

Jay Bruce at the moment has a much better power swing than Headley does and will hit more long balls this year.

And of Headley's 15 hrs (13 at Portland) only one has come from the right side of the plate. And Petco Park isn't favorable to left-handed hitters.

Eventually Chase Headley will be in the same category as Jay Bruce, just that Bruce is a little bit of a step ahead of him.

Jay Bruce by far. Headley plays in a pitchers park and is less talented in my opinion. He also plays on a bad team so he wont have many RBI chances.

Jay Bruce is skyrocketing! He's the one you want.
