Kay Hooper has brilliant paranormal books! i love anything by her (especially her bishop trilogies) here are some of my favorites from her:

Interview with the Vampire was an interesting read. Anne Rice, the author, has written many vampire/witch novels, which may be worthwhile.
Also, there are a ton of gothic/horror novels concerning paranormal subjects available at Valancourt Books.

Anything Dean Koontz writes is gold. Odd Thomas is my favorite. I also love his Book of Counted Sorrows poems. Hilariously funny. Pax-C

Twilight saga by Stephenie Meyer, they are my all time favorite books EVER!!!!!!!! They are so amazing, I am like totlly in LOVE with them. If you didn't read them yet, go find them and read them right now, they are soooooo amazing!!!!!
