is it worth fixing a 1991 car that's been sitting for two years?

Plymouth Grand Voyager minivan, 180k miles.

    Depends, if you can get it for free and it only needs minor repairs (change oil, new belts and hoses, change tranny fluid), then it could be cheap transportation. If you need to sink a lot of bucks into it (transmission or motor or tires, anything costly, then no, don't fix it.

    No, not at all worth fixing. Now: if it was something that got 40 mpg, and you needed something like that, I'd say yes. But 180k is pretty well worn out for the 1991 GV, and they only get about 16 mpg.

    My guess is no. Cars like a Mustang or Camaro i would say yes it would be worth fixing.

    You'll most likely get the same amount for it, so just sell it as is.
